I bought 1set led day lights.  The day light set has a  5 x 5 high end power leds , each 1 watt per unit. The operating voltage is between 12 volts DC to 24 volts DC. On this picture the surface of the reflectors are smooth.





The power consumption of a set is 0.75 amps at 12 volts DC. The intention is to connect the set to the existing day lights of scooter. If the low beam is activated the led day lights will be turned of automaticly.







The original day lights are contected with the AC cirquit. The led day lights run on DC voltage. Therefor the AC current must be transformed in a DC voltage via using a  -diode-  the outcom will be a pulsating DC voltage. Add an  -elco-  to the cirquit and the pulsating DC voltage chance into an usefull DC voltage wich prevent de led day lights from flickering.
